A Cataract Surgery Drop that Saves Time and Money
Just before and for a few weeks after cataract surgery, your eye surgeon will recommend you use special, prescription eye drops. These drops are designed to fight infection and reduce inflammation, helping ensure that your eyes are both prepared for surgery and stay healthy after your procedure.
Currently, the industry standard is to recommend a combination of three separate eye drops. At Eye Centers of Florida, you have a choice between the three-drop regimen and LessDrops®, two solutions that differ in cost and application but are equally powerful.
Using LessDrops® Means Using Fewer Eye Drops
The standard recommendation for cataract surgery eye drops requires a patient to use three separate products. LessDrops® is equivalent to three products in one. It’s recommended that you apply LessDrops® only three times in one day, which for many patients is preferable to using three separate products four times per day, each.
LessDrops® Costs Less Than Alternatives
The average total cost for the three separate eye drops is $497. A single bottle of LessDrops®, on the other hand, costs only $120. With this being said, it’s important to note that LessDrops® are just as powerful as the more expensive solution.
